FAUX FLORAL
All of our floral items, foliage, bushes, shrubs and wreaths are artificial (faux).
We are passionate about providing the best quality artificial items available.
Many of our faux blooms are hand-made and hand painted using the highest quality materials and selected for being a perfect imitation of its fresh counterpart.
We believe that, by selecting only the most realistic blooms available, artificial flowers can be just as beautiful as the real thing, but with the added advantage that they last much longer and require little maintenance.
Most of our faux floral items will need some styling once removed from their packaging. Occasionally, a stem or flower may can become disconnected in transit. This is not damage or a fault simply the unfortunate handling of the courier but these are easily reaffixed.
* Please note in some instances it may be necessary for us to bend stems for packaging but we will never do anything more than needed and they are easy to bend back.

Important Information
Preserved foliage and flowers are natural stems that have been treated and often coloured. Stem shapes can vary just as with any natural product.
Keep away from sudden temperature changes and changes in humidity. Stems can react to these changes by sweating and they are not colourfast, so please keep away from surfaces where they could cause staining.
Do not clean stems with water, just lightly dust.
Chemicals used in the preserving process are non-toxic but sometimes certain products can produce an odour.

Many of our ceramics are either handmade or handfinished, once produced. Ceramics can have the occasional dimple or pimple in the glaze which is part of the finishing process - this is entirely normal.
Additionally, an item that is mould made will have a join line. Some join lines are more visible than others but again this is entirely normal. It is the method of production that enables us to find great looking pieces that we can offer at great prices.

Such items maybe our handthrown lamp bases made from ceramic, cement or stone - pots, vases and ornaments made from similar materials or it could be twig hearts, wicker/willow hearts or kubu and rattan products. Blemishes can and do occur but we regard this as normal given the nature of the material the item is created from.
Product finishes can vary across a range of our products depending on the date of manufacture and the batch of production.
Products that can be affected include furniture, ceramics (coloured, glazed, natural or stone) light fittings and shades.
With furniture and anything made from wood, the finish is dependent on the wood itself. There will be varying tones within the same item and colour may vary slightly from the image shown and from piece to piece.
This is also affects any stained, treated or washed products.

Lisa has always had an interest in home interiors and beautiful things.
Her work background was in banking and Lisa's interest became a little more serious in 2013 when she began buying select pieces, styling them and offering for sale online. Cowshed Interiors was founded.
The business started from home and soon grew to a point where business premises were needed. Now based just outside of Stratford upon Avon in an 8,000sq ft operation of outlet, office and warehouse.
